Application for Debutante Ball


The 31st Annual Debutante Ball will be held November 7th, 2009, at 5:30 at the Genetti Manor in Dickson City, PA. For more information, please contact the Polish Union USA at (570) 823-1611.

Dear Member,

On behalf of the Polish Union of USA, I am inviting you to participate in our Fraternals Thirty-first Annual Debutante Ball. This special tradition dating back to 1748, is held in your honor, to present you into society. Any female, who is a member of the Polish Union, between the ages of 15-19 years old qualifies to become a Debutante. Applicants must be a current member of the Polish Union. New applicants must have a policy by September 1st of the current year, and paid by October 1st to participate.

The only commitment expected of all Debutantes is to attend two dance rehearsals, at which time you will learn the traditional Polonaise Waltz. There will be no cost to you for the dance rehearsals, the tickets for yourself and your escort, and also your escorts Tuxedo will be provided at no charge. All Debutantes and Escorts will also receive a DVD, compliments of the Polish Union, as a special keepsake for participating in this wonderful affair.

As a debutante you will also have the opportunity to receive a $500 Scholarship Grant, compliments of the daughters of the late Marion Vrabel. Please see the enclosed information regarding the Scholarship Grant.

The Debutante Ball will take place on Saturday, November 7th, 2009, 5:30pm at Genetti Manor, Dickson City, PA. Presentation of the Debutantes will be before dinner. Dancing and refreshments will be from 7:00 to 11:00pm. It promises to be a wonderful evening as always!
